Gender Reveal

For my first baby we celebrated with two baby showers. I knew there wouldn't be that much pomp and circumstance the second time around, but I still wanted to celebrate. So we invited our closest friends and family over to find out if we would be filling our home with Bows or Bow Ties.
The entire party was planned for the backyard. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had different plans. So we made last minute decisions to put as much as we could under the tent outside and the rest was in the dining room and kitchen.

We served hamburgers and hot dogs, chips, cookies, cake, and ice cream. There were bouncy houses for the little ones once the rain passed and cornhole for the grown ups. The favors were little baby blocks filled with pink and blue jelly beans since I had been referring to the baby as "the jelly bean" for weeks. They also matched the baby block centerpieces my husband made.

The cake is by Cakes4Fun in Mount Pleasant, SC, the cookies are by Just Sae Cookies in Mount Pleasant, SC, and the flowers are by Pretty Petals of Charleston in Summerville, SC. All pictures belong to Widener Weddings and should not be reused or copied without our written consent.
