It was a warm Saturday in late October when I took on a crazy feat: decorating and hosting 2 parties for my daughter and husband in the same day, his being a surprise party. The were both huge successes, but I was beat!
Charlee is obsessed with Minnie Mouse. She loves hot pink and big bows too. So I did my best to create her own "clubhouse" for her special day.
The cake was by Cakes4Fun in Mount Pleasant, SC and the cookies were by the Mad Cookier in Tallahassee, FL. All photos belong to Widener Weddings and cannot be reused without our written permission.
Let me just start by saying that making Minnie Mouse everything was pretty fun! I even made Minnie ears in the ice cream scoops and little Minnie Mouse sandwich pieces for the clubhouse sandwich bar. I also made her a Minnie Mouse car out of an old Mini Cooper toy car with the help of my hubby. It was definitely the favorite gift that day! The photo booth and Pin the Bow on the Minnie were also big hits with the kids.
